The Gas Fraction property of a Galaxy Nebula object represents the fraction of the object's mass that is present in gas, relative to the amount of mass in stars or dust. The Gas Fraction affects the object's appearance, as gas will appear as a glowing cloud in the nebula. The Gas Fraction, Star Fraction, and Dust Fraction values will always sum to 100%.
The Gas Fraction is automatically calculated by Universe Sandbox based on the Galaxy Type and the nebula's position within the Galaxy. However, the user can change the Gas Fraction, which will automatically turn off the Enable Nebula Evolution toggle for the individual nebula.

Gas Fraction is a unitless property between 0 and 1, but it can be viewed and edited as either a fraction or a percentage.
