Currently, Universe Sandbox does not simulate the evolution of life. However, it does calculate some properties related to how suitable an object's surface would be for life.

Properties[ | ]
- The Earth Similarity and Life Likelihood properties of an object are listed in the Comparisons section of the Composition tab of the object's properties panel.
Settings[ | ]
- The Habitable Zone for a star can be displayed using the Habitable button in the View menu in the bottom bar, or by using the Habitable Zones setting in the full View Settings Menu.
