Jurassic World: Dominion Dominates Fandom Wikis - The Loop

The Surface Temperature of an object represents the average temperature of the surface of an object. Object types including Stars, Black Holes, Fragments, and Human-Scale Objects have only a single Surface Temperature property to represent the temperature of the entire surface of the object.

Property Details

The Surface Temperature property of a Star, Black Hole, Fragment, or Human-Scale object can be found in the Overview tab and at the top of the Temperature tab.

The Surface Temperature of an object is also displayed in its mini-info panel.

Surface Temperature can be viewed and edited using the following units:

  • Kelvin (K) is the SI base unit for temperature
  • Degrees Fahrenheit (°F)
  • Degrees Celsius (°C)

Conversions between these three units are as follows:

°C = K - 273

°F = (9/5)°C + 32
