The Video Tool records the simulation as an animated gif and saves it to the user's device.

The Video button is located in the Tools menu in the bottom bar. When clicked, a menu with several buttons will appear.

The Video Tool has a number of actions that appear as buttons in its settings menu.
- Show Last Video in Folder
- Opens the folder on the user's device where screenshot videos are stored, with the last screenshot video selected
- Open Last Video
- Opens the last screenshot video in a gif viewer
- Open Video Folder
- Opens the folder on the user's device where screenshot videos are stored
- Upload Last Video for Sharing
- Uploads the last screenshot video taken to Giphy, then provides options for copying the Giphy URL to the clipboard or sharing on Facebook or Twitter.
- Video Capture Settings
- Opens the Video tab in the main Settings menu
- Start Video Capture
- Begins recording the simulation
- The user can stop the recording by clicking the "Stop Capture" button that appears, or the recording will stop after 30 seconds. The recording will then be converted to a gif and saved, and buttons will appear to open the screenshot video folder or share the gif.
- This action can also be performed by pressing F10 on the keyboard.
